Finishing and protection

Electrostatic
powder
coating

Electrostatic powder coating for steel and aluminium parts: a durable protective layer with a uniform appearance and resistance to corrosion and impact.

The process covers surface preparation and electrostatic application of the powder, with consistent results across small series and recurring batches.

Materials and colours

What we coat, and in which colours

Surface preparation varies by material and is part of the process. Standard colours have a minimum order of 10 m²; the rest of the range is quoted separately.

The coating process

Preparation and application in the same workflow

Powder coating covers both surface preparation and powder application, carried out at the same site for a consistent result.

Surface preparation is essential for the adhesion and durability of the coating. Parts go through degreasing and phosphating (steel) or chromating (aluminium) before the powder is applied.

Electrostatic application covers every surface evenly, including edges and hard-to-reach areas, with a consistent film thickness throughout.

Applications

Protection and appearance for every type of component

Electrostatic powder coating is used both for corrosion protection and as the final finish on parts intended for display or for integration into finished products.

Housings and cabinets

An attractive finish and corrosion protection for equipment housings, electrical cabinets and technical enclosures.

Structures and frames

Corrosion protection for metal frames, welded structures and industrial components exposed to damp or chemical environments.

Industrial and commercial furniture

A durable, attractive finish for metal furniture, shelving, tables and chairs, indoors or outdoors.

Construction elements

Profiles, panels and metal elements for construction and façades with weather resistance requirements.

Design pieces

Custom colours and textures for design components, installations and decorative metal objects.

OEM components

Coating to the customer's colour and finish specifications, for parts built into products sold under their own brand.

The powder takes an electrostatic charge and is drawn to the earthed part, settling evenly on edges and in areas the gun cannot reach directly. Excess powder is recovered, so consumption stays predictable.

A clear process for every order

01

Send your project

Tell us the material, the colour you want, the part dimensions and the estimated surface area.

02

We prepare the surface

We degrease and phosphate (steel) or chromate (aluminium) for optimal adhesion.

03

We apply the powder

We apply the powder electrostatically, in the colour and finish you requested.

04

We set the coating

The applied powder is set onto the part, up to the final durability of the layer.

05

We inspect and deliver

We check the appearance and film thickness, then prepare the parts for delivery.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The standard colours are white, black and grey, with a minimum order of 10 m². Other colours are available on request and quoted separately — we confirm availability and price with the quote.
We coat carbon steel and aluminium. Surface preparation differs by material: phosphating for steel, chromating for aluminium.
The standard process includes chemical surface preparation (phosphating or chromating) and the powder topcoat. An additional primer layer is available on request, for special corrosion requirements.
Yes. We receive ready-prepared parts from you and carry out the coating alone, including surface preparation.
Film thickness is set according to the colour, the finish and where the part will be used. We confirm it with the quote, together with the surface preparation requirements.
Yes. We can take on the complete project, from laser cutting, bending and welding through to grinding and electrostatic powder coating, all at the same site.
Electrostatic powder coating offers higher resistance to impact, scratching, corrosion and temperature variation than conventional liquid paint, and the layer builds up evenly, with a consistent film thickness.
